Leave A Legacy

You can help ensure that the Eastern Shore’s public libraries thrive through legacy (planned) giving to the Eastern Shore Public Library Foundation. We especially encourage legacy giving to two endowments, the Citizens’ Endowment and the Mariner-Barnes Endowment.  Legacy giving can meet other needs that are identified through consultation with the Trustees of the Eastern Shore of Virginia Public Library system. We can work with you to identify the best direction for your giving.

If you choose to make the Foundation a beneficiary in your will, please speak with our office manager Barbara Schwenk at 757-787-2500 so you can provide us with a copy of the will for our records.
